Buckley - Trumpet x John played trumpet with the All-City
(NY) High School Band and was a trumpet player and bugler with the 1st Army Band at Governor's Island, NY. He played most
New York parades and the Horse Show at Madison Square Garden. He, along with Dr. Marvin Feman, played with
the Hank Mason Big Recording Band, Middletown, NY. During his teaching career
at SUNY Orange he also played
trumpet for a total of 26 years. He has been a member of the Swing Shift Orchestra for the
past 4 years and has enjoyed the great moments on stage and wonderful friendships with the band members.
